To me tatoos are meant to be a statement of individuality and creativity, why you would just pick something from a book is beyond me.

This, I just see it as another person who wants to be part of the whole "Tattoo for the same of it to fit in" bandwagon.

Personally, I can appreciate good artwork when I see a well done tattoo, however most aren't well done.

The last tattoos I saw were of two scrolls with the guy's kids' names on each arm.

The tattoo looked like rolls of toilet paper covered in poo, and I'm not even joking. It was a BAD job, he can't see it and thinks they're great though. :/

I do love to laugh at bad tattoos though, I think they're funny and prefer looking at them over a good tattoo, in the sense that there's nothing "special" about a good tattoo as you'd expect a permanent tattoo to be of a high standard.
