looking for a budget build for a friend. Will basically be used for office apps and internet use. Budget is up to £300, but would prefer to spend less. Only looking for base unit and theres no need for an OS.

can get an I3 processor for 40 quid more. but if its just for office apps and internet use. below processor will do fine.

or if you dont trust the 500 watt PSU in the case below let me know and ill spec again with dif case and psu. however i used one of these in my old build and it ran for a year and a half and is still working like a dream. I built my GF's mam a work computer on cheap and got her one of these cases + PSU and hers hasn't faulted either.

he probably wont need 8 GB of ram however 4GB was £22 this 8GB set was £27 might as well double up for a fiver.
