Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I am regularly getting the BF3 freeze / black screen crash and the message:
Nvidia Display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered

I'm now on the fourth set of nvidia drivers that have done this (two BETA, two WHQL), each time I have uninstalled from control panel, booted into safe mode, run driver sweeper, restarted followed by search of C:\ for nvidia folders and deleted them, run disk cleanup on C:\, CCleaner (including fix registry issues) and then install new drivers (with "clean install" checked).

Anyone know what could be causing this? It seems to happen about 30-60 mins into gameplay on BF3.
 
Played some Rush last night. I learned quickly that both teams are full of snipers, that the majority of players on the attacking team are a bunch of wusses who are too scared to attack, that 64 and 48 player servers are a cluster ****, and that the good old 16vs16 (as in BF:BC2) is the way forward on Rush.

I agree. Shame there's not more 32 player servers though.

On another note, tried playing on a metro 24/7 64 player server last night just to see how it was.

Absolute chaos. No fun at all.
 
I wish they'd up the speed of the scout helicopters, im pretty sure i can crawl across a map prone faster than those things going at full pelt....
 
I'm having much more fun on AK than on CQ. I couldn't stand the MW style gameplay of CQ and AK feels much more like the BF1942/DC I used to love.

Yeah, I went to get that the other night as well and it had expired.

Emailed them asking for a new code via their website - jokingly asked for one for 50% off. :D

There's one on there for 20% off if you don't mind paying £30.50 for it but I can't bring myself to do it after seeing it for £28.50.

I have been having major lag problems in Armoured kill :(

Game starts well with low ping of around 29. Then after a while, it suddenly goes upto like 144 and then my game gets disconnected with the message saying: "You were disconnected from EA online"

I am using netgear wireless adapter and am on virgin 50Mb broadband.
 
Netgear wireless adapter, bad job wingzero mate. I had one of those, (wpn 111). Absolute garbage, kept overheating and crashing my system. Chucked it against a wall one night and got a big long ethernet cable instead.
