Hi everyone,

I have an ageing machine, so looking to upgrade. Started playing Arma 2 online but I plan on checking out new releases more often if I get an upgrade.

I definitely want to be able to play Arma 2 at full detail with a high fps, I know the engine isn't that well optimised. Also looking to the future I would like the machine to hold up when Arma 3 gets released.

I will require everything except for: Mouse & keyboard (Monitor is debatable) I could be willing to hold out until after xmas to pick up a monitor in the sales or 2nd hand for additional money. My monitor at the moment is a 19 inch viewsonic vx922.

Thanks for any advice/suggestions on a build.

I would try to stretch to this:

Note the second build has a 1TB hard drive for only £16 more, just can't fit it in the first spec.

Another compromise you could make would be to get a 1GB VRAM graphics card for £30 cheaper, or a locked i5 for £40 cheaper.
