Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch date trailer also )

I've ordered loads from ShopTo, always get normal editions a day or two early but bigger special ones the release day.

But my Borderlands 2 special edition arrived today so really surprised about that!

its not much consolation, but ive had shipping emails as late as 8pm from Amazon,and still received them next day (i always pay the extra couple of pounds for 1st class)

hope it works out.
 
Yes, Amazon will only dispatch the day before so it's a bit of half a dozen of one and half a dozen of the other. Amazon are only leaving Royal Mail 1 day to get the item to you, which is a bit naff as RM do say first class is 1-2 days.
 
Cheers guys. Just a bit peeved, they know I live in the Channel Islands, and it takes longer for post to get here. :/ oh well, just gonna keep an eye on the postage status and crossed fingers its here tomorrow
 
I thought Amazon's games/blu ray/DVDs etc were dealt with by Indigo Starfish who are based in the CI, or am I way off the mark?

I reserved a copy in Blockbuster earlier despite never having played the original. Reviews look good so taking a gamble.
 
Occasionally indigo starfish do fullfill some games DVDs or blurays, but it tells you. Indigo starfish also don't take the vat off for residents in the Channel Islands (apparently its already taken off) :P but amazon do take it off at checkout.

amazon dispatched mine, at 8pm last night.... fat lot of use that is. nice one chaps.

trip to hmv it is. getting the one from amazon refunded asap.

just wanna play this damn game :mad: :( :p

Worse is from ShopTo also.

Bah anyway see what Sainsburys has to offer with another 10% off :)

No idea if you get the DLC though with just buying it in the shops.

hmm well if not then ill have a rant to ShopTo, always a first i guess they were always spot on when ive used their service.
& the website the last week or so has been very slow to do anything

Thought i'd just give my opinions of the game after a few hours of play last night..

Brilliant. The commentary is hilarious, the gameplay is fun, difficult (!) and challenging and the action is crazy! I managed to get to level 8 and got a legendary drop on just the 2nd boss! It's a grenade which does so much damage its hilarious :D

This is just solo and from what I've heard the co-op should be even better.

p.s. I'm already addicted to the slot machine :D!
