Call of Duty 1 or Modern Warfare 1?

My mate and I are having an argument.

Which one is better?

Modern Warfare 1. The old CoD's sucked besides European Assault.

EDIT: I mean United Offense. Too much damn MOH as a kid.

For one the original cod was a very good game, a TRUE pc game. And european assault was a medal of honour title.

Yeah I know it is, I had United Offense lying around but forgot it's name. Call of Duty 1 was meh, it was pretty crap until it's expansion came out.

Modern Warfare 1 defined the genre, shame they dropped the ball afterwards (mainly down to Failarch).

Cod1, great clan gaming.

And I played a lot of moh and I know of allied assualt and expansions but know of no european assault.

Basing on single player, MW1 for sure.

I prefer MW2 and MW3 overall though, love that Spec Ops!

MW1 for single player and multiplayer
Cod 1 for the played to death WW2 games that forced out nearly every year bringing the same old flavors .

Opinion, World at War was awful and the only decent thing Black Ops had was the story. The only thing they've contributed to the series is the Zombie minigame.

All we have these days is forced out mw games year in year out, be nice to have a good ww2 game again

Nah MW1 defined online FPS for me..Halo was good but MW1 blew it out of the water

Infinity engineered the engine that took CoD to new levels and defined the genre with MW1. All of the games since then were pathetic, so they both fail.
