at 1250 now
Speak to humbug - he's done a lot of testing on the 7870 with overclocking and performance scaling. He may be able to give you even more information than what has already been given by LtMatt.

I've unleashed the beast, now run with it.
Yeah someone hit 1400 on the core with a 7870 hawk. Scored just under 10000 marks on 3dmark 11 which is equivalent to a stock gtx 680
Very decent for ~£200.
Just had a look at that nexuiz looks pretty decent, sort of like an up to date quake. I'll take it off you if you're offering

thanks dude. Get my 7870 on Wednesday. Not the hawk though just the twin frozr 3 version.For temperatures I'd try keeping it under 70c.
