People getting sick is an every day part of society, so is a business going bankrupt, bailing out the business to the extent of what occurred with the banks with a complete lack of accountability is not.
Actually they're both very similar they've looked at the end result of letting either fail (people getting sick and being untreated and the banks failing) and it was decided that stepping in, and yes dicking a way a load of money on something that wasn't the person who's money it is fault, to prevent that outcome is more beneficial than going "yeah well it's your fault **** you".
Also you're always bitching about tax on the poor etc, do you actually pay tax on your earnings given their less than legal source?
