So I just drained my loop so that I could use my blocks in my new silver TJ07 and noticed crap in my reservoir + rad and the Mayhems Green UV premixed coolant was discoloured in the RAD and RES and came out the colour of copper.
My EK Supremecy HF Copper Plexi block and my XSPC 750 dual bay res were all stained up from what looks like corrosion in one of my blocks, then on closer inspection my EK FC580GTX EN Nickel Plexi block may have been the cause. I flushed out everything using deionised water see below:
EK Supremecy HF Copper Plexi before:
After flushing + cleaning inside:
My XSPC 750 Dual Bay Res:
Couldn't clean it
My FC580GTX EN Nickel Plexi before flush with deionised water:
Couldn't open it to clean properly because one of the hex screws got stripped so just flushed it with deionised water until the water came out clear:
After flushing (cloudiness is just condensation...I think:
Should I just be able to use everything as-is in my new loop with my new XSPC dual D5 Dual Bay Res? I don't want to permanately stain that up as well as it was expensive :/
