Do you like clubbing?

Proper clubbing, like fabric and cable, I absolutely love :)

Regular clubbing is ok. Not my cup of tea but it can be a really good night :)

Not sure I'd say Cable is a 'proper' club, though it's alright. Still a bit of a mainstream joe club. Fabric is that way on some nights, too.

I really enjoy clubbing and dance music culture. Me and some friends have organised a few clubnights before, as well. I enjoy smaller clubs where the focus is on good vibes, the 'right' sort of people being let in (i.e. no idiots), and the main emphasis on the soundsystem itself. Nothing quite like a Funktion-1 sound-system hitting into the reds in a small intimate club til 7am :)

Also have done Ibiza about 4 times now. Great fun - pure hedonism!

I'd like to add this to my post. Better to show face and not have fun than decide you can't be bothered. That really is social suicide.

Yup, very true.

As for me - it depends on the club and who i'm with.

I've been to crappy club nights and amazing ones ranging from grimey underground clubs in Dalston, to the Oceana style in University to indie clubs in Central.

I am a teetotaller, and have about as much interest in clubs as I do S Club 7s back catalogue.
I don't care what people say and whether they think I'm a mental weird freak, but I can't imagine anything worse than paying good money to poison your body and make a knob out of yourself.
If you need to get arse faced and make a dick out of yourself to fit in, I'd personally try and find better people to hang around with. You can have just as much fun sober and doing something you remember if you're with the right people.

Why are the vast majority of teatotallers self righteous so and so's? If you had just said "I'm a teetotaller, and don't have an interest in alcohol and clubbing" then there would be no problem. But no, you have to insult those of who use enjoy drinking and dancing and come across as a right moron.

Get over yourself.

Just been clubbing 6 days out of 7, so you could say so. Uni freshers week though. I only really enjoyed two of the nights. A dubstep event and a deep house event. I really hate cheesy night clubs.

Be we are British so do two things:

a) Hi, I was kind of wandering if it wasn't too much trouble and you weren't busy, but obviously you would be busy because you are just like you haha, if you uhh fancied coming out with, I mean going with, uhh a coffee at some point because I knowthisreallygoodcoffeeplacethatdoeslocalcoffee haha andIthoughtthatyoumight like to, maybe try it because I heard somebody say you liked coffee and I thought you might want to get some coffee at some point?

b) smash drinks, bump into each other in a club, kiss before we even speak, possibly go home with them and in all circumstances order a lunch time dominos special.

There's only one nightclub I go to that I've ever had a good night in and that's Corporation in Sheffield. Rock music, cheap vodka and an atmosphere where nobody takes it too seriously (Guys trying too hard on the dance floor, people out looking to fight each other etc), I'll always refuse to go to other places but Corp is always a yes :D

I used to love it but now it's ****. The main problem now is that every bloke there is either out for a fight or to pull. I tried going out clubbing with the mrs a few times and it always ended up with aggro from random guys.

I would actually like to go to some 'proper' clubs but my mates and I always go to rubbishy local ones with not much atmosphere and sub-standard music. Cheaper!

Is Fabric good? Can you only enjoy it you're drinking water?

I'm really knackered and have a bad headache.

I don't drink so more than half of the appeal has gone already.

I don't mind going to the pub and have gone several times.

However clubbing, I just don't get it.

Sorry guys for letting you down, but I will try to go to the pub tomorrow.

I've never been but if it's anything like what it looks like then I'd imagine I'd hate it. I'd probably go the first few times with new people from Uni though just to 'get in' with them so to speak and then slowly reduce the amount of times I go.

Go out immediately. We are not saying you should drink.

I'm suggesting this for your own good and social well being.

If you are knackered have a red bull or coffee.

Seriously, don't do this to yourself. It's borderline tragic!

I would imagine the most sold drink in Fabric is water.

Its totally dependant on you and who you are with, if all of you are battered, I'm sure you'll have a good time. However if many in your group are rolling and your the odd one out, I'd imagine you wont enjoy it as much.

Remember people rolling are more annoyed by drunks then drunks are annoyed by people on it.

My flatmate last year and house mate this year does not drink, yet he still comes out with us every night and loves life. Occasionally he may go home a bit earlier then us at some times though, but you can still do it.

Take some Pro Plus and go for it.
