Cover-Ups, Conspiracies and Assassinations

It's almost certainly true that the US authorities made a deal with the Mafia during World War II in exchange for safe passage landing in Sicily. None other than Charles 'Lucky' Luciano helped them out.

There are people who probably believe every mainstream conspiracy theory there is. This is probably due to number of psychological reasons to do with detachment with society, self-importance and paranoia.

Then there are people who will immediately dismiss any sense that order is becoming disorganised (corruption, conspiracy). This is probably due a denial of social responsibility and a comfort that the information one receives through mediums of authority (coroner reports, political speeches, stories from parents) represents the absolute truth.

Then there are those in between, who seek the information and make they're own opinion on the truth of the matter with the consideration of evidence or the lack thereof, that supports or opposes certain theories.

I don't want to make this thread about why people react the way they do to disorder. I just thought it would be wise to set out the types of people you can get in these situations so that readers can hopefully become the latter of the 3.

Good luck with this, seriously.

surely as a loyal CIA operative he's just spreading misinformation?

as after all if the CIA killed Clinton and run drugs for decades in secret it should've had not problem popping this guy.

Not necesarily misinformation as he officialy verifies what many other people have said about Roswell for years. It could be that he was been given orders to go public as part of process to desensitize the population to the reality of UFOs which I believe has been going on for some time now.

Two you might not have heard of.

I remember that one from a while ago, very suspicious.

Apparently Israel developed a bio weapon with apartheid South Africa (where they got most of their nukes from too) which would target only arabs. SA had one that targets blacks. Problem is it would target a lot of Jews too because the sephardic ones are quite mixed.

It has been reported that the Israeli Nes Tziyona biological warfare research establishment is attempting to develop an 'ethnic' biological weapon. It has also been alleged that similar research was carried out in South Africa under the apartheid regime. The implications of such a development are difficult to overstate. An ethnically-targeted biological weapon would revolutionise the entire concept of biological warfare.

Israeli "ethno-bomb" controversy

In November 1998, The Sunday Times reported that Israel was attempting to build an "ethno-bomb" containing a biological agent that could specifically target genetic traits present amongst Arab populations.[4] Wired News also reported the story,[5][6] as did Foreign Report.[7]
The article was quickly denounced as a hoax. Microbiologists and geneticists were skeptical towards the scientific plausibility of such a biological agent.[8] The New York Post, describing the claims as "blood libel", reported that the likely source for the story was a work of science fiction by Israeli academic Doron Stanitsky. Stanitsky had sent his completely fictional work about such a weapon to Israeli newspapers two years before. The article also noted the views of genetic researchers who claimed the idea as "wholly fantastical", with others claiming that the weapon was theoretically possible.[9]
A planned second installment of the article never appeared, and no sources were ever identified. Neither of the authors of the Sunday Times story, Uzi Mahnaimi and Marie Colvin, have spoken publicly on the matter.

The BMA says it's possible.

The threat of biological weapons is real and needs to be tackled now, medical experts warn.

The British Medical Association says the window of opportunity to take action is shrinking fast.

It said the threat had intensified since it first published a report on biological weapons in 1999.

Five years on, the threat of weapons that could target specific ethnic groups is no longer theoretical and is approaching reality, says the report.

'Real threat'

Dr Vivienne Nathanson, head of science and ethics at the BMA, said: "The situation today is arguably worse than it was when we published our last report five years ago.

I dont think it would be too surprising if Iran was trying to make a weapon like that which only targets something specific to the jewish genome. There are a few diseases which only really affect ethnic jews like tay sachs. And as computers get faster the genome processing gets easier, and this scenario gets more likely.
