Dishonored is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine the numerous supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your enemies under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make.

STORY:
Dishonored is set in Dunwall, an industrial whaling city where strange technology and otherworldly mysticism coexist in the shadows. You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress. Framed for her murder, you become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card. In a time of uncertainty, when the city is being besieged by plague and ruled by an oppressive government armed with neo-industrial technologies, dark forces conspire to bestow upon you abilities beyond those of any common man – but at what cost? The truth behind your betrayal is as murky as the waters surrounding the city, and the life you once had is gone forever.

KEY FEATURES:
• Improvise and Innovate: Approach each assassination with your own style of play. Use shadow and sound to your advantage to make your way silently through levels unseen by foes, or attack enemies head-on as they respond to your aggressiveness. The flexible combat system allows you to creatively combine your abilities, supernatural powers and gadgets as you make your way through the levels and dispatch your targets. Improvise and innovate to define your play style.
• Action with Meaning: The world of Dishonored reacts to how you play. Move like a ghost and resist corruption, or show no mercy and leave a path of destruction in your wake. Decide your approach for each mission, and the outcomes will change as a result.
• Supernatural Abilities: Teleport for stealth approaches, possess any living creature, or stop time itself to orchestrate unearthly executions! Combining your suite of supernatural abilities and weapons opens up even more ways to overcome obstacles and eliminate targets. The game’s upgrade system allows for the mastery of deadly new abilities and devious gadgets.
• A City Unlike Any Other: Enter an original world envisioned by Half-Life 2 art director Viktor Antonov. Arkane and Bethesda bring you a world where industry and mysticism collide, creating an atmosphere thick with intrigue. The world is yours to discover.

Yea, I would like to know, as to be honest. A digital key is better in my opinion. As I want to play it the moment I can because I'm sad like that.

Probably, but some clarification and fixing all the broken line breaks in the post wouldn't hurt, would it.

Fixing a few bits of badly copy+pasted html would be great, yeah, but hardly a deal breaker.

It's fairly obvious that this is physical media. Do OcUK even sell individual keys (not including those that come free with graphics cards)? Also, in the picture, it says PC DVD, another fairly strong indication...

Interesting looking game, one i've been following for some time, like the look of it..

Much rather have a key I can just enter into Steam, wonder how much steam will be selling this for?

edit - its on Steam for £29.99. I'd be honest I'd rather pay the few quid extra and pre load and play on the day if I was 'really' keen to play the game on release date... sometimes steam do a pre order 10% off..

Agreed, OCUK could look into selling codes, that'd be well good.

I was speaking to one of the dons a few months ago about them doing Steam keys, so you never know.

It's a shame they don't offer digital keys though because most of the time they are the best prices outside of sales, but sometimes waiting a few days for it to arrive is a dealbreaker. :p

Should offer an option to have the key emailed to you from the box and just have the box binned or something, especially for Steam keys.

What exactly are you selling here? The digital key or a retail boxed version?

we sell retail boxes unless it states in the title that it is a digital key.

digital keys are not usually freely available from our distribution networks but 99% of the time, we are cheaper on titles than digital distribution and recently, every OcUK pre order has been cheaper than all online competitors.

whilst postage does make us a little more expensive, it is convenient to purchase your games from OcUK if you do benefit from our free shipping for forum members offer.

Yeh I would be willing to buy this if its a code as opposed to a retail box.

EDIT - Just seen the above. Thanks for clearing that up.

I would love something like this but I doubt they'll do it :/ Would be nice though.

It'd be doable but it does seem a little unprofessional though I suppose. :p

Could just be something that active forum members have access to though, like free shipping, an option to just get the code. I mean hell even non-Steam/Origin keys would be easy to grab the game files for, OC could host them and last time I checked torrents without cracks weren't illegal. Not 10000% on the latter though.

£23 is a steal though, depends when you want the game really.

I think details on whether it'd be shipped to arrive on release date would be helpful.

this is essentially a logistic issue.
this requires manpower which sadly, we dont have.

it would be excellent if we could offer this but it is simply not possible at the moment.

ordering your game through OcUK means better pricing than digital distribution and in this case, better pricing than most online retailers.

if you are not bothered about having the game the very second it is released and can wait for postie to turn up on release day, then put the code in your steam and throw the packaging away.

lets be realistic, a steamworks game is the same thing if you buy it from a retail store or from steam directly. the fact that it is £5-£10 cheaper than other retailers can only be a good thing for an OcUK customer?

A pretty good price, could be my first OcUK games order!

try us out one game pre order and see what you think.

we are doing well on pricing, our pre orders are going out in good time to arrive with the customer on or before release dates and we have never had any complaints.

I am doing everything I can to make our service reliable and dependable

if you have any suggestions to improve things, then feel free to send me a message in trust :)
