I can see how some would want to save their beer just like you'd want to save your bullets?
Been there, very much a tale to tell.
Happend to me about 12 years ago when we had that stonking flood everywhere around november.
Reported (wrongly) on the radio that my road home was closed so i took every back road home, each being flooded... anyhow last one, there's an absolute torrent coming across it, no choice.. this car in front hits it full whack, makes it... im thinking f'it in gone.. dives in, engine is dieing fast, foot to the floor it's just about to stall, it Roorrs like a beast.
Needless to say relief. felt like i was triping on acid.. however it totally knackerd the car as i found out in the months that followed before i could afford to get a new one.
12 years iv'e waited to let that go
