I recently decided to spend my upgrade money on a holiday. The holiday rocked, but now I'm back I still want an upgrade :D

I've had a Galaxy S2 for a year. I've got some money ready to sort it out and the S3 seems a logical choice. That said, it's been out for a couple of months now and I am patient enough to wait for the next big release, but after some looking about, I can't see what that is. I see a few threads about LG, Motorola, Sony...but none of them seem to high-end or even the next S3 :D

Do I wait a month or two (as one website cryptically suggested I wait for October for some big releases, but didn't say what they were), or do I just get myself an S3?

Decisions, decisions...
 
How is the RAZR-HD and Optimus G not high end?

The next Nexus are what many are waiting for - announcement on late Nov.

Perhaps my choice of words was hasty. I just mean that they're not setting the world alight - this place would be going crazy if something big was on its way.

Media wise, the ecosystem is far better than android.
App wise your right it is a bit lacking but all wp7 apps will work, so you can check that in advance. Then you'll have to wait for the wp8 apps to be released, but there's allready been confirmation of many top apps for it.
So it really depends what apps you use.

I like the spec on the 920 but personally the phones exterior look is not for me, the Samsung ATIV looks far better.

I'm holding out for news on the new Nexus :)

Im on the S2 as well, right now I have my eyes on the 920 it looks to be a nice phone, and the iPhone 5 isn't half bad. However I really want the Nexus, I hope google doesnt cheap out, and hopefully it is not made by Samsung, I would love a HTX one Nexus with a bigger battery.

My 2 cents is the S3 is an amazing phone, but it is ruined by touch wiz (Which can be fixed) and the lack of on screen buttons which I think is very important and is an amazing experience.
 
This wait for the Nexus is horrible!

Though my modded S2 still keeps me happy - the want for a new toy grows everyday!
