I would have agreed until this month a called regarding a faulty power supply and they just blamed the surge protector. No help at all.
Lame.

Got the link to that thread, I don't believe I dealt with that? - You'd be surprised though what surge protectors can do. So we do have to ask these things, otherwise it is a hassle returning a PSU if it was just the socket protector.![]()
I contacted you over the phone, the Psu 24 pin connector 12v rail had burnt out and melted the pin. I have sent it to corsair now. Just hope it hasn't damaged anything else in my PC.
I would have accepted being told i needed to go to the manufacturer.

That is a bit strange, if there was a burnt part... We would usually deal with it straight away. Hope all gets sorted, any issues and please make a forum post FAO: 5UB and I shall look into getting it sorted for you.![]()
