Does anyone know anyone, or have themselves been flooded? If so, did the local authority or the Environment Agency visit the property to ask any questions as part of their investigation into the matter?
For example, did they…
- Ask where the flood water propagated from?
- Take photos themselves or ask if they flood victim had taken photos?
- Contact again with any follow up questions?

Reason I’m asking:
I’ve got a job interview and it includes a 10 minute presentation about how one would prepare for a visit to homeowners who have been flooded for the first time and want to know why. It’s also about how the follow up with the homeowners would be managed.
Apologies for the rather self-centred thread, but I’m trying to prepare as much as possible. I’ve done quite a bit already but I thought I’d turn to trusty OcUK to see if anyone had any first-hand experience
