i like sports direct, its great for cheap stuff for outdoor activities, customer service in my one isnt the best but the prices cant be beat

I get my hiking shoes from sports direct and their free mugs make a good pen holder

Every time I've ever been in one they've been overstaffed and huge, with barely any customers. Not a surprise IMO. I think the sportswear boom has faded anyway (unless you're a chav)

To be fair, JJB actually started to sell some decent stuff later on, a far better selection of real sports kit than JD, and usually higher quality than Sports Direct. Obviously anyone who buys their clothes in their needs their head looking at though!

May as well just change this and any similar thread title to 'High street goes bust'. Most stores cant compete e tailers anymore.
