I have it, you know something tho Each time I have removed and installed a new driver set, my settings normally stay them same brightness, color etc
But this time everything was back to default and I never saved my settings :mad:

Look at the BF3 image even tho the stats dont change much, the image quality defo looks better with cap installed.

The clouds move, the actual image quality is the same...just the shadows give a false perception.

Get my 7870 tomorrow, will definitely be installing these

. Tempted to try them on this 6950 but a lot of hassle when it's being taken out my PC tomorrow lol.

Armoured kill optimizations are definitely present in these drivers. Big gains compared to previous 12.9 beta drivers.

Any idea if these or the final set rather, will it be worth it for CrossFire 5870's? I'm still on 12.4 with the last Cap before the one released a day or two ago.

i5 2500k @4.7
7970 @ 1200/1600

Worth upgrade, although most optimizations seem to be for the 7xxx series these days.

EDIT

Nice gains on armoured kill, still more work to be done to stop dips below 60fps on full ultra though.

Out of curiosity, will this Catalyst work with my HD 5650 Mobility. Never had an ATi graphics card before and reason I ask is because I get odd white lines appearing and disappearing. Cheers

Must say BF3 is superb with theses. Playing B2K and my FPS never dipped below 50. where before on some parts of the maps it would be into 40's.
So far so good.

Wowzers, just tried them on my stock 6950 and with everything maxed including 4xMSAA 1080p it never dropped below 30. Yes I know 30 is bad but that's damn good for a stock 6950 where last time I tested Ultra it dropped to 20fps and that was with an overclock.

Got high hopes for my 7870 tomorrow, especially if it's a good clocker

Not tried BF3, but can no longer clock my cards to 1200/1600.
The 12.9 CAPs give about 1% extra performance in CF for F1 2012. Looks like i'm rolling back to good old 12.6 lol.

Will quickly try BF3, considering i dont really play the game extra performance in that doesn't interest me.

One thing I have noticed, I can't overclock in this driver set, I get a crash when loading anything 3D, I have to set a profile in afterburner and apply it when in game etc.
