Calling on 7850, 7870, 7950 and 7970 owners

have you overclocked it yet? you should be able to max the sliders in ccc overdrive without touching voltages ect

I don't think that will work lol. The core goes to 1400mhz in overdrive, stock is 1050mhz.

it might if you have had msi afterburner or gpu teak installed at some point? it leaves the adjustment of those programs in ccc,you should be able to do 1.150mhz core and 1450mhz memory on stock voltage,if unstable try with 1375mhz memory

i have the 7850 card so my clocks will be different to the 7870,i can do 1050core and 1375mhz without touching volts

I just tried that with overdrive in GW2 and I wasn't sure if I saw an artifact. The game has texture flicker on certain objects. It only happened once while I was playing. I'll try afterburner. Should I use the force constant voltage setting?

i wouldnt, you want it to clock up and down at idle and load, just back down on your memory a little, artifacting is usually that

Hmmm strange, CPU-Z and HWmonitor are still detecting my 6950 but GPU-Z detects my 7870. I did a full driver sweep as well with driver fusion in safe mode. GPU-Z is reporting VDDC as high as 1.8v where as HWmonitor is saying 1.16 which is correct.

Tried Unigine Heaven 3.0 at 1200/1450 and scored worse than I did stock. Seems the card is throttling.

Yep, definitely something wrong with this card :/

Okay uninstalled overclocking software and reset CCC overdrive to default then disabled it so the card is running purely stock now and it seems to work fine. Beginning to think it's my coolermaster gx650 PSU. My 6950 sort of had the same problem when I overclocked as well.
