Samsung S27A950D, opinions after receing the monitor

I'll have a Samsung S27A950D arriving next week, ive no idea if any cables come included from Samsung, do any come with it ?

I was just wondering whats the best cable to run this with as it supports DisplayPort, HDMI and DVI-D (Dual Link) ?

You need either a dvi-d or DP cable to get 120hz. These samsung displays can have issues with DP so the best choice would be dvi-d. Dvi-d doesnt support audio so you would have to get it from another source (motherboard or audiocard). I believe both cables are supplied with the monitor.

You know, I'm not sure you're right. What you actually need is a DUAL LINK DVI-D cable. DVI-D also exists as Single Link and I'm near 100% sure that the latter doesn't have the bandwidth for 1080p at 120hz.

The manual for the monitor does not say this exactly, but the graphic of the DVI input in the manual is a dual-link socket. Further, the DVI cable that ships with the monitor is a dual-link DVI cable, not a single link one...

I run mine Dual Link DVI, I tried DisplayPort but I got error messages. It didn't seem to make any difference but I went back to DL-DVI.
