Sent off my Hazro 30" Monitor that was approaching its 2 year warranty end for repair, And within 7 days i have a brand new Top of the range monitor turn up!

I know its the newest version as its the same as the one my father in law just got direct from hazro.

Only issue is that they forget to send the power brick to power these new design monitors, my old one had the PSU built in... A small oversight so i don't mind. (they should be sending one as i sent them an email)

So all those people who have moaned about Hazro being non existent and the Service is poo, I think you were not very nice to them :P

<3 you Hazro

I really hope you're right but you may be a bit premature with your praise.
Like you said, they forgot to send the power brick. This thread could easily turn into an ongoing story about how you've emailed them a dozen times to send the power brick and 3 months later you're still waiting. ;)

nahhh, if i haven't got it by wed next week i will be driving down to Birmingham where the parcel came from and asking for one in person. lol

This hasn't happened before but I think I know what 'may' have happened.

If a 30" was exchanged for a new unit, there is no way the PSU could not have been included unless stores physically opened a new carton (a hassle and something they prefer not doing). However, this has to be done in cases where the customer has not returned the PSU on their faulty unit. Since 2010, all Hazro displays come with external PSUs so stores may not have realised your unit had a built in SMPS from back in 2010. Oversight for sure but easily remedied.

Yea my old one had a PSU built in mr. Hazro, I knew it was something like you said. And is understandable :)
My father in laws had 2 boxes, one with monitor and one with stand / psu in it, I couldn't post the stand back with the faulty monitor as well so that helped with not having the second box come :P

Gota love having a hazro rep on these forums :P goes to show the dedication they have to please customers

Looks like one "Hazro Monitor" owner is not impressed with hazro's customer service. Various postings on ebay and gumtree for sale with very accurate description. "glass falling off". Doesn't help their reputation much.

I managed to find a FSP180-AAAN1 on Amazon for delivery on monday, i have to have my pc working on monday so ordered one.
If Hazro send me one i will have a spare :P

Amazon is stupid...
So the amazon Stock pickers sent me the wrong one... But to get the correct one i have to send this back, wait 5-8 days and then reorder... Great so me paying "10 for monday delivery for was nothing

EDIT:

Orderd a 4Pin DIN Plug from the bay, and will solder that onto the PSU.
Saves me returning the damn thing when you cant actually buy FSP180-AAAN1 in the uk -.-

They sent me a new PSU!

And wow, This monitor is 100% better than my old one....!!!

and Zero dead pixies!

<3 you Hazro

Perhaps they've improved their standards, I was almost put off due to their poor customer service reputation but I went with them anyway. My monitor is still performing as well as it did day 1 five months later hopefully it stays that way.

Yea, a lot of people seem to think they have bad CS, But its simply not true... You just have to be patient.

Only thing that bugs me about these 30" monitors is the buzzing they make on Bright colours, so for example a full white screen gives a high pitch whine.

But this is something i can live with as i have music on anyway.

Once I got a reply from Hazro (used a different email address after a few attempts and they replied the same day) my RMA was dealt within a reasonable time and it looks like I've been sent a new screen. Just not had the time to plug it in yet to check all is OK.

It just randomly started to flicker then after a few mins it would work until one day I switched it on and it was really bad and did not recover.
