480SLI would walk all over BFBC2.
I know, but according to Guru3D GTX 660 leaves it behind in that game.

Guru3D has GTX 660 SLi reviews.

BFBC2 1920x1200 8xAA.
GTX 480 SLi 98 FPS vs GTX 660 SLi 124 FPS
bear in mind though that is average fps, they don't mention the minimum.
+1, for BFBC2 i'd imagine a 480 SLI at 1080p would be rocking out at least 120fps.I understand, but the point is he would be seeing 100fps+ on average with his 480sli at 1080p. So an upgrade to 660 sli would hardly be noticeable even if it is an increase on paper.
Why buy two mid spec cards? Pointless in my opinion. Just get a GTX670 / 680. Can always add another one in the future.
tape two GT340's together and you have a GTX680 for a fraction of the cost ^_^
On a serious note however, i would personally do the upgrade to save on electricity, and help prevent a nationwide heatwave every time i start gaming.
Interesting that according to your sig you still have a 480 yourself - also bearing in mind the expense of the upgrade, how long would it take to make that money back from the electricity saving? I suspect you'll be thinking about the next upgrade before that happens![]()
Just a case of the upgrade itch i think
After doing the sums a 670 would cost me about £100 after selling the 480s?
Would you say it would be £100 well spemt?
