Motorola release first new phones since Google takeover

Aslong as the camera is good I'm in - however with it releasing around the time of the Nexus I may get that instead. Atleast I now have the option of a few phones. Bye Bye SIII.

Hey,

Are you not getting along with your S3?

I'm about to flog my HOX, and was thinking of the GS3 (LTE version).

However, both the next Nexus device(s) and the Razr Maxx HD are on my radar. One of my main beefs with the HOX was the battery life, and this 3300mAh beast should hopefully solve that!

Ideally, would LOVE a Motorola Nexus device... bit of a Moto fanboy, and I feel bad for not owning one since the V3i :(

The worst thing about the SIII is it's looks. I would have had an SIII by now if Samsung had released a redeeming Black model. It seems Samsung knows best and are far too clever to give the people what they want so sod them and their stoopid blue S3 pansy design concept. :)

RAZR HD and Nexus are all that are on my hitlist now. If the Razr we're out now I'd have it in an instant as it ticks a load of my boxes :D

I'd be willing to wait for the HD MAXX if it's released soon after the HD.

Had an email from Clove advising that Razr i in Stock and shipping Monday. Anyone pre ordered one? Thought about it at one time but more interested in the HD when it's released.

If it had been same specs as M (S4) then might have?

looking forward to laying my hands on a maxx, I have the original razr maxx here running ICS and its so close to stock its ridiculous and the battery is just rude.

using a htc one s at the moment and it's just occured to me I have no idea why when my razr is sat literally gathering dust.

I see Tech Radar have a full review up now of the Razr i. Not a bad review though plainly not a high end phone. Got to admit to being tempted as what it does well is being a phone. Good signal they say, which has always been my experience with Motorola (and Nokia for that matter). Compact with 4.3" screen which isn't bad. I used my One S this week as I moved it back to stock and installed latest HTC update. Nice to go back to a compact phone as against the One X I normally use BUT although signal was better it still sucked big time for me  Time to sell it now.

Important to me is to be able to use it as a phone and not fanny about looking for a signal (we do have a good signal here in the sticks just not on an HTC), some web browsing, email and such but not really a gamer on my phone. The Razr i could tick the boxes and reasonable price too. I do like the One X I use currently and it's big screen but downside for work it is just the wrong side of big and that could be ditto the Razr HD when it come out? What to do

Probably will? All this talk of Razr HD - is there any news of when it might come to the UK?

BuyMobilePhones.net apparently have the Razr HD & M arriving on the 12th of November, according to their website anyway.

No sightings anywhere of the Maxx version though so far, which is disappointing.

I've pretty much decided I'm going to get the Note 2 now and wait till the Nexus is released and decided between that and the MAXX.

They'll let us buy standard Razr HD's then introduce the Maxx model to the UK sometime next year

I see the Razr M on that website? Why Motorola mess about with the 'i' version I dunno? Would it not have been far simpler just to stick with the S4 version - a proven chip surely?

Oh well Kona, may as well sit on the One X for the time being?

I expect Intel decided they wanted a piece of the Android pie & got into bed with Moto after handing over a large brown envelope full of $$$'s.
