Had to book for 2.30pm as the 2pm slot had already been taken. I've changed the timings slightly in my OP so now we're meeting at 12:30 for lunch and 13:30 for the non-lunchers
Hopefully weather will be good and dry on the day!
Just a note to those who haven't been to Go Ape before...
- I would suggest wearing clothes that you won't mind getting dirty. I'm going to bring a change of clothing because the last time I went, I ended up getting bark all down my trousers (and knickers)
When you jump down the zip wire and land on the floor, you'll be landing on bark. If the bark is wet, you end up having bits of bark stuck to you
- Grippy gloves are available to purchase at Go Ape for £3 I think. That's if you feel you need to wear them... Most guys don't as they want to look manly
I'm wearing gloves as I don't want to ruin my smooth delicate soft hands
- Guys - avoid wearing cotton tracksuit bottoms. It really emphasises how big/small your 'package' is when you put on the safety harness....
