Is there such a thing as a good gaming laptop under £800?

I already had a copy of Windows 7 (£35 pre order special price) but you should be able to readily find it for £55-60 in the regular places.

I think they have lowered the price now its £79 to include in the build, cheapest OEM I can find is on eBay at around £70. OCUK wants £80 or something.
might be worth just paying £79 so I dont have to mess around setting it up for the sake of £9 lol same with the thermal paste It is £4-5 a tube on eBay , £4 more and I don't have to take it apart

I am in the process of building a fan stand for it too , perspex with 4x 120mm arctic F12 fans lol should keep it nice and cool

For those of you that have a 15in laptop with 1080p screen, is the text not too small In everyday use?

I can imagine 1600x900 or 1680x1050 being the sweet spot.

Just make the text bigger? Its a simple setting.....

Nice attempt at being patronising, but I heard that it doesn't always increase the text size across all apps, and that the higher dpi text can look a little ropier sometimes. Hence why i'm asking.
