OcUK Trackday: Donnington 30th October - £139 Full Day (Open Pitlane)!!

hmm. If i remember good that Coat is to brake new discs in AKA get them to proper temperature once or twice. It should be ok after that layer goes away. I got grooved discs so that went quite fast :P

Premier inn booked for the night before, think i'll order some yellowstuffs, the unipart pads on at the minute seem crap enough on the road, so not sure i want to track them!

Might have an intercooler too if i find a reasonably priced one.

Wish I had a photo of the last cooldown lap actually, me and two friends also in e36s cruising 3 abreast down the Dunlop straight into the sunset. We should do similar this time.

Anyway, Booner you're welcome to passenger in my car. My last passenger whined and moaned about not having fancy fixed bucket seats though :p

That was awesome actually, a really cool end to the evening - a photo of that would have been superb.

You're welcome to both bucket seats for this trackday to save on whingy passengers :p

87 wow, seems an awful lot. Suppose that's the price you pay with
cheap days like this. Here's hoping half of them give up by lunch time.

Yep did a focus day, they had 100 cars but was not to bad, a lot go home or blow up after first hour or cook brakes.

Were they actually fast? I've seen one at Donington before, he wasn't any faster than the standard tin top cars.

At the top end, no, but they's a stark difference in technical bits. I remember one being on slicks and its closing speed was something to behold (Bedford).

Hi there not kong now. :)

GT2 bar removed as car has well being plenty of oversteer in these wet conditions even at corner entry. So C2S bar back in, shall look into either a C4S or earlier GT3 bar in future but it's driving nice on the C2S bar in these wet conditions, no more corner entry oversteer, just on power exit.

Not long now and next week I've got the new Boxster, gonna be fun.

Prep, errr.......well we got the car out of the lockup tonight for the first time in a month. Battery was flat. Now on charge ready for a sprint at Snetterton on Saturday.

Right, highly unlikely I will putting the car on track, so my space is up for grabs. Slightly gutted, but nothing I can do about getting my turbo back at the moment, and I'm not going to buy another turbo to fit it all, get it tweaked, to then do it all over again after Donny. I'd rather wait and do it all at once without rushing.

If no one wants it, I will submit for a refund but am likely to lose a bit of money. So if someone is interested please let me know ASAP.

I am still planning to attend to spectate and help out where I can. :) The garage that I have paid for will still be in use by my brother's MINI, but I'm sure there's space for another car in there.

Front pads changed on both the S2000s today, just need to do rears and flush the brake fluid.

Ran out of light today but still have the Toda manifold to get on!
