After my massive failing on building a silver squad with very little coins, I've decided to focus on enhancing my bronze squad as there are areas which can definitely improve and overall I really enjoy playing with the team. I'll stick with them and try to earn more coins and just keep spending coins on gold packs in the hope I'll hit the jackpot with something.
I may have to stick to bronze cup games though as seasons games I end up pitted against 5 star gold teams even though I'm only in Div 4

With defensive heads from their goal kicks I just press and hold the long ball/header button whilst holding forward, this usually pushes their player in the back a bit and I rarely lose these ones unless the attacker on their team is great in the air.
As for attacking headers, I really don't know when the perfect time is to press it, but I normally press it as I want him to jump, so just think about it like that. I don't know if that makes sense, but I imagine if you're crossing from the wing you'd probably want to start pressing it as the ball is about two thirds of the way to the player. I guess!

Please can someone tell me why some of my bronze cards have white number ratings and other details, and some only have a darker bronze number? They have an animated shine on them too.

I just stream music from my NAS box instead, much nicer to listen to than the music in Fifa.Only complaint, the game refuses to accept I don't want to listen to the in game musiccan't be bothered to turn it off ever time I play
some players of all levels are shiny, some are not, it's pretty random. Shiny ones just discard for a bit more, nothing special.

In mine I use Adam Johnson RM, Jarvis LM, in 3-5-2.
Jarvis is a bit meh, not as fast as he should be on paper, but Johnson is really good.
Considering trying N'Zogbia for LM, or maybe Sinclair?

I've considered Elia, he's going for around 6-8k I think, so I can easily afford him, but I like having Schurrle as he can cut in and lash a shot in from 30 yards, something Elia isn't as good at.Thanks mate, will have a look and think on that

Surprising you feel that way, I think this is the best Fifa I've played. Feels much more like a passing game than ever before to me.
