Looks absolutely amazing without the stupid blue/grey tint. It makes me sad to see how some crazy art direction took what what would have been a beautiful game and just ruined it. :(

Because Dice apparently think it makes the game stand out and without the filter it just lookos like one of the many modern fps games out there. I seen a quote purported to be from Demize via twitter saying something along those lines the other day. :mad:

And BF4 a copy and paste job? You have absolutely no idea what you are saying. You don't know a single thing about the developers and what they are doing so your statements are completely stupid :)

I'm actually not sure if I got trolled or if you are serious, I hope the first.
 
If it's possible for the Close Quarters and Armoured Kill maps to get this treatment, i'll install it.
 
you can use it on the new maps if you read up on it

the one im using only works the maps before the latest dlc

think my fps maybe slightly better aswell

just played caspian border with it on . so much better. thing is the injector for eg messed up other things this is just like the tint has been removed nothing else so no crappy side effects unless you get banned at later date rofl !

wes ill try close quarters now . close quarters maps are different .

Zero! They'll buy the guy out and crush him like they usually do with small companies/developers - recent example, what is to become of the developer of Battlelog now he has been bought by the mighty EA?!

Used to be the ea battlefield forums (before they canned them), dubbed Mordor by the devs because of how negative the majority of posts were. Think theres now a site called mordor made by ex posters.
 
As much as I think most of the maps look better with the filters removed, I understand their point. Without the filters they DO look very.... samey, even a bit cartoonish. It loses its edge. Now, I DO use an injector that boosts saturation so it isn't so bland, but I get their point. Perhaps they need to get creative and find a way to make their maps attractive AND atmospheric.

you dont use injector with the blue tint removal

It's just infinitely better. There are so many little things that you don't notice with the blue tint. The underlying graphics are amazing on BF3, but they've managed to ruin it with the art styling. I would really get back into it if I could play with these settings.
