started last week and happens each day, the wifi just goes, phones and pc's see it but cant connect, reboot and it works fine. i have not changed anything and prior to last week it worked fine. i'm hardwired on my main rig, but have 7 other devices in the house (2 phones, 1 tablet, 2 laptops, 1 pc and 1 ps3) - rarely more than 3 at the same time.

any ideas?

have you had the upgraded speed yet ?

we had the same issue here a while ago, lasted for ages with the wireless going off.

it's been fine for months now and not one drop out of the wireless.

if there upgrading your speed then it is virgin and not your hub.

I had this problem over the weekend.

The solution i found was to change the security mode from WPA Auto to WPA2-PSK[AES].

Since doing this i have had a wireless connection running at my full speed (30mb) with no problems at all.

Hope this works for you as well.

On a side note, my speed upgrade is still showing as August 2013. :(

I had a similar problem and solved it by putting the hub into modem mode and using my own wireless router with it, this has been working with no problems for months now. If you have a spare wireless router it might be worth a try. I have 3 hard wired devices and 6 wireless devices connected.

I had major problems with Wifi using the Super hub. The only solution I found was to use a different router to handle Wifi and general networking and put the Super hub into modem only mode.

mine does it when i have more than 5 wifi devices on. that is the limit.

Mine does it when I have two devices on and this is my 3rd SP
Mind you the tech at VM said "why don't you buy your own router" Me "why don't you give me a working wireless router"

Now I have my 4th SP on the way and I will keep doing it till they sort it.

you might have your neighbours using your wifi ;) i did as a student for 4 years :)

when you say two devices, you sure you dont have mobiles tablets on it as well.

Well that is an option since it does modem mode now, it was great 'fun' when it didn't do that.

I've also found that superhubs I have to use have been flakey and restart or drop the wireless ever since they updated to R36 firmware, they were so good on R30 firmware :(

It wasnt quite this bad for me, but I was having trouble with occasional drops in wireless signal on mine. I found dropping it from 300mbps to 144mbps in the options cured it.

I use wifi analyzer on my phone to get around that problem works a treat.
