*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

Not sure if been asked in previous page but any news if/when happy hour is? Wasn't it Wednesday 6-7 on fifa 12 or was this a myth?
 
So much rage and filth comes out of my mouth whilst playing 13. A lot worse than 12. :( Think I'm just a pretty poor player! (and loser! :p)
 
I think it's because stupid **** constantly happens, whether it is your player passing it straight to your opponent for no reason, your CB being outmuscled by players who would be classed as midgets in most parts of the world or your keeper palming yet another shot from 30 yards in to the corner.

What that has stood out tonight against me is bloody Shane Long never heard of him , but apparently he plays for West brom:confused:

He finessed and had control like fifa 12 players had.

Worth looking for and trying , might of just been 2 awesome players back to back but he was bloody good.

Turn my defence inside out , lucky Mario turned up and rescued the second game :D

Oh and Joe hart isn't worth the money at all Brad Friedel is better
 
How do people afford these players? My team is rubbish, its hard beating these teams that full of class.

How do people sell players aswell, what method i mean, just list em and hope for the best?
 
Bought 3 gold packs with winnings from online tornys...No one decent. Thankfully I'm still unbeaten in 19 games. But I wouldnt mind Kompany

Common sense :p

Scour the market to see what price the player you are selling goes for, check what formation he is (41212 notoriously sells for a lot more) then sell him at the peak times (5-10pm).

Give him a starting price that isn't far from what you want and put a buy it now price a little bit higher than what you want. Bingo.

Make my money by getting lucky, finding bargains, requires effort.

That helps a great deal. What's your opinion 13?

I'm can't make my mind up , its enjoyable but not sure its as realistic as it could/should be

I've noticed this too, was going to buy Darren Bent earlier for 8000 coins but was 400 or so short and had to go out. Came back this evening and looking at 10000+ now if not 12000. Spent them elsewhere now on a few squad players so will build up again over the next couple of days.

It feels like PES6 with the ability to shoot 40 yards with anyone and it be on target. The pace is soooo quick it feels a little like an arcade game. But Ive played every fifa since 1994 so why stop now right :)

Jury is still out, however I'm enjoying it a lot more I've found a team I enjoy using. I've altered my play style slightly to accommodate the changes which has improved my performances.. I've only lost a couple in 20 odd games so things are improving.

Some things annoy me, it's too easy to score now and the keepers aren't as good. Power shots are far too powerful. Finesse's are almost worthless now.

Some players seem to have magnets attached to them, you tackle them but they still manage to keep their balance and bumble the ball back.

Penalties are still to softly given, I dread having to tackle in the area.

Oh and crossing sucks, always goes to the back post!
 
Keepers are so much better this year, Sczney or however its spelt on FUT is amazing for me.. I should have conceded so much more then I have if it wasnt for him. I also like the feature CPU players pass back to the keeper and seem a lot smarter.
