EE set to launch 4G LTE in the UK on October 30th

No coverage here... I miss it by about 3 miles as the crow flies :o

I am about 0.25 miles from my nearest T-Mob/Orange cell site albeit there is a hill in between me and it so I still get yellow signal on my phone :(

Edit: I also only get ADSL here and not FTTH either :( It's something I will bear in mind if/when I move home. I will be checking mobile coverage as well as if fibre is available.

Wow, i fall inthe coverage area..!

Gonna ring up T-mobile and see what deals they have. Only need an Sim only plan. Was gonna jump ship to Three might scrap the idea.

According to the post code checker there's coverage in the centre of Wolverhampton, that's some range if they're only supposed to be covering Birmingham.

If you only need a SIM plan then why not just wait until EE is launched as you won't have 4G until then and have to convert to EE...

Plenty of coverage for Bristol. Current contract is due to expire in May which is conveniently 6 months after the launch, so prices should have dipped a bit by then.

Any idea when the spectrum will be opened up to other providers?

Spring next year is when the others will start to roll out apparently.
