I'd go along with that. If I'm lucky I can snag the occasional 4-1-2-1-2 card for under 4k (I bought my first one for 1.5k!), but it's generally late at night/early morning when that happens.
if they didn't do that you'd have players by the end of the season with 4 IF's and with the same overall as messi.
Aye true. The rating of Sterling in the game annoys me though.
It seems kinda blatant that they've made him 69, so that he's an immensely expensive card on FUT - then when he gets an IF (which, you've got to imagine will happen at some point), they'll put him up to 74 rated and he'll be worth millions.

that's mental - 3-5-2 cards go for about 300/400 which is why I just generally buy a player i want in any formation and then just grab a 3-5-2 card!
Pretty sure the UT team don't do the ratings they are given by the developers. But there will always be some players in that kind of situation - bit like Oxlade Chamberlain last year. Just luck who it is.

How do you get TOTW players? Do they just come randomly in packs? I'm guessing the chances are minimal.

This is my team I have found most succes with. I found putting the slower defender in the middle of a 3 at the back formation to be a big risk, you want pace in the middle. In 12, every said to put the slowest in the middle but I don't find that to be the case in 13.

I usually change the cm and cf posistions a lot. Boateng at CF is just insane. His long shots are brutal.... but he does get tired quickly with his high/high work rates. Cassano is probably my favorite player to play in CF. His 90 dribble is amazing.
Pato and Cavani works best for me. Tried all sorts of different partnerships but those two work the best.
I always sub Giovinoco off and put Abate on then change Maggio/Abate around. Abate at RM is just so deadly.

Looks nice, I think I need to get Di Natale as soon as my Schweinsteiger sells, I've got my CM's already but I think I might get De Rossi and see what he's like. Thinking of getting Cassano for CF as well but I loved Totti last year so I dunno...

Not too sold on Di Natale. Messi has more strength than him. 
Never certain between IF, SIF, TOTW etc but I think I'm right in saying the card is black with gold writing and the stats are increased!
In fact, while we are at it, can someone do a quick summary of the different sorts of cards as mentioned above? (including what the abbreviation actually stands for!)
