Turkey launches attack on Syrian targets

about time tbh...

apparently there have been 5 or so incidents of shells falling in that town now this latest one where civilians have been killed Turkey responds with artillery fire - can't fault them tbh...

I think it's a stitch-up to justify a NATO response.

you've got quite an imagination

firstly the Syrian rebels don't exactly have much in the way or artillery

secondly the response has already been made, by Turkey

No NATO aren't going to get involved on the basis of a cross border incident like this.

NATO may not want to get involved, but it's also likely they will being that several UN members have demanded a response only to be vetoed by both Russia and China.

Let's not pull the wool over our eyes.

I'm not talking about whether they want to get involved or not - I'm saying they won't get involved on the basis of a relatively small incident alone and that the idea that this is some sort of 'stitch-up' is rather far fetched - its more likely to be an accident tbh..

Probably not a lot, not every Muslim state likes each other just because they are Muslim... Most of them don't like each other because of who they deal with and what not, pretty much like everywhere else. All in all most of them don't care all that much provided Turkey don't turn up on their doorsteps.
