Hi, looking at overclocked i7-3770K CPU and cooler, I've been advised to get a £60 cooler eg. Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 2.
However, would a £40 cooler eg. Be Quiet Dark Rock Advanced, do the job?
Or other suggestions. I've got a 190mm wide case.

If you have the budget and like the looks I would get the K2 Mount Doom. The cooler the better - Ivy run quite warm. Overclocking yourself or do you mean a bundle?

If you like black heatsinks have a look at the Prolimatech Megahalems bundles OCuK do, pretty sweet and you save on the fans this way.

Prefer to spend around the £40 mark and not £60 but if £40 will not do the job then £60 is fine.
Weighing up cost implications with either overclocking myself or buying a ready overclocked bundle which has the £60 cooler.

I've been informed by a supplier that the Thermalright True Spirit 140 and Cooler Master Hyper 612S coolers can only certify a 4.2 overclock and not say a 4.5 as part of an overclocked bundle.
Anyone any issues with exceeding 4.2 with either of these coolers?
