Looking to get a jacket/coat for the winter. Looking at something similar to this one from Next:

Anyone know a good place to get this kinda jacket, and good quality? Looking to spend about £100 max.

Have a look in M&S. Either the website or a big store if you have one nearby.

Just recently bought a new coat from the big one in shepherds bush Westfield and they had lots in that sort of style, mostly around the £100 mark.

Is that Next one posted an Italian Moleskin one?

TBH it doesn't matter if it's material similar to that or the same. I've had many like it and the Next one too (currently own) and considering the in season prices, it SHOULD have no problems down the line but they all do. The elbow sections fade over time, not really noticeable unless you look for it but they do fade. This is why i'll never buy a black one again.

I paid £90 for mine and I wish I had gotten the dark grey version which won't suffer this issue.

I looked at M&S ones too but TBH they're not as nice fitting as Next ones. At least the Next ones feel more tailored than the baggier M&S ones. The Next Small size for me fits nicely and there's no looseness, the M&S ones have a lot of play...

I've got a very similar one from Superdry last year, out of your budget though :( Think it was £265, really thick and a quality coat though :)

I ordered two coats from lyle and Scott website this week, hopefully they turn out to be worth keeping.

Decent sale on there. Check it out.

Not a fan of SuperDry but they have coats in that style.

I'll be wearing the same coat that I've been wearing for the past 10 years or so. It cost £30 from a military surplus store, it keeps the wind & rain out and it keeps me warm. What more does one need from a winter coat?

If you are looking for one of that style, check out any local suit shops you may have, bought one last year for about £100 and its infinitely better quality than you would get in next/matalan/etc

I've got two winter coats. One is a longer one I wear if its just cold when wearing a suit, the other is a berghaus 3 in 1 which is basically a decent water and wind proof jacket with a zip in fleece for when it gets properly cold and wet.

It totally depends on what you want from the coat, but the one pictured in the OP isn't going to be keeping you dry and toasty if you get stuck outside in bad wind and rain when temperatures drop.
