The Official Fifa 13 11v11 Club

Phew, finally sorted out - i had backed up origin for my new motherboard, but it was crashing as soon as it started a game, its now sorted out after reinstalling, I will be around tonight now.
 
Ah fair enough, thought we were about to have a load of people jump ship or something :p To be honest though i'm happy so long as the current most active 6 don't run off, nice having everyone on mumble.
 
yea man innit. tbh the people who have left so far wasnt on the list of people who originally signed up.

we have a good healthy number of players in the team so its all good. I want this club to stay together till fifa 14 comes out lol
 
Yeh, I haven't left permanently, but I'll probably be playing amongst 2 or 3 clubs so might be going in and out, the new open to friends option allows some flexibility. I just find it hard to get games at MD as there is a lot of players on usually and plus I'm sort of used to playing in a smaller team.
 
How about just staying and playing in different positions, than club hopping every couple of days.

Personally it is better playing in different positions, than just sticking to one or two positions all the time.

Plus, I can see you being our GK now and again. :D
 
I think the team has banned me from taking Penalties lol
to be honest if you lot could defend properly my hat-trick would have been enough ;)
no excuses for the other pen miss though haha it was just awful

I like playing in different positions and moving around the pitch (including GK my best pos ;)) but it seems always I end up in defence when there are loads of players on used to happen in FIFA 12 too lol. Beside I want to try a FIFA career as a mercenary, you need to pay for my high quality services (oo-er) :cool:
 
Sorry if i'm being completely ignorant (shattered after work) but is there a 'B' team for guys who aren't as into getting really good at this? Thinking of picking it up and having good fun playing with some people who actually pass the ball about and aren't greedy!
 
Last night we played against Doomer's team and we drew 0:0 in what was a very tight tense match.

Doomer and phil was playing together whilst we had like 8+ of us playing together. In that game, it was the best disiplined game we have ever played. we all stayed in position, pressed sensationally and defended really well. Doomer and phil only had one good opprtunity as our defence was hard for those two to break down.

great performance!

Also, i am planning to split the club as originally intended as we are overloading with people now

In some ways it's easier when you're playing with less people, but on the flipside i found i had a lot of space to move and covering AI players is so easy compared to covering multiple humans, that's why it was so tightly faught i think.

The pace of the game is a lot slower when your opponents aren't all charging about holding sprint and running around in circles.

I think a maximum of 5 is the ideal number to give your team the best strength possible.
 
the game against doomer was a very tight game and everyone actually played there positions none of the running around like a headless chicken ****

but i agree 5 maybe 6 players in a match would make a diffrence
 
I think splitting the team into two clubs would need more thought on. Cos who will go to each side and will there be enough active players etc.
 
yea that is something that needs to be addressed. u never know though. this time next week the size of the club will be sufficiant. we cant just have 5 people in the club though. thats tiny and will rely on all 4-5 members being on at the same time.

15 is the magic number IMO as this gives people opprtunity to get games at varied times of the day and week
