Thanks in advance, got a big case (Corsair Obsidian) so size not an issue.

Check out the Noctua HS&F's.
Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Dual Fan Quiet CPU Cooler (Socket LGA1366/LGA1156/LGA1155/LGA775/AM2/AM2+/AM3) [NH-U12P SE2]
or
Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler (Socket LGA1366/LGA1156/LGA1155/LGA775/AM2/AM2) [NH-D14]
Never mind, they are both over £30. You get what you pay for!![]()
If your going to O/C your system I would advise you look into good quality HS&F's and save up for a decent one. Infact seeing as you have the Asus Maximus Gene V, you purchased it with a view to O/C'ing. Check out the reviews on here, youtube and so on.![]()
I'm not spending that much, I don't believe a few degrees is worth twice the money. £30 ish plenty for a good cooler, the 2500k runs pretty cool and I have a well cooled roomy case, I'm not an extreme OC'er, I like playing games not fiddling with settings all day to run benchmarks. I've already OC'ed my system and I didn't need to spend £70 to do it.
I think the ones suggested earlier would do the job brilliantly.
