What 140mm Fans (Gaming rig)

I hear good things about the thermalright 140mm fans, the ones they usually bundle with their coolers. Think they are model no. TY-141, plus I don't think they are all that expensive.

This is for the top and bottom slots? The thermalright fans are very good but are absolutely hideous and don't have a standard frame size though I reckon they would fit just fine in the R3.

I recommend Corsair AF140, I have 3 of them in my Arc Midi and they keep the case temps down to a minimum without too much noise, they are very reasonable at full RPM. Otherwise I'd say try the Akasa Apache 140's, I always hear good things about them and they are PWM also. The Akasa have good static pressure, which some larger fans seem to lack.

AF 140's I have 1 on the bottom of case, 1 as an intake, and 1 on the rear. This is due to having a 200mm at the top but would rather have 2 more AF 140's.

the thermalright pictures are wrong they are not beige they are more a grey/blue colour

I like the look more of the Akasa Apache 140's, seem to be out of stock at the mo tho and yeah this is for the two top slots and the bottom one.

I'll fill the rest of the 120's that are left with the Scythe's i think

As I said above, I love the AF140's, I think they have great looks and great noise to airflow ratio, very happy with them. Just quite expensive.

I plan to buy two more so that all of my fans are Corsair AF140's. Only place I'm not having one is infront of my hard drive cage, this will be an Akasa Apache because that has higher static pressure and can run on PWM as I don't have enough fan headers on my fan controller for it. I got a 200mm bitfenix on the roof which I hate, it's so loud all the time. The AF 140's are fantastic fans in my opinion. I want to try out the Apaches though.

Well i decided on the Noiseblocker BlackSilent Pro Fan PK2, I've ordered four, two for the top 1 side and the bottom.

Should be here today, I'll let you know how i get on
