What would you do

Basically bit of a question here. Probz going to get slated here. But im 25 ive got 35k in the bank. I live with parents but not going to move out as i get along really well with them. I have a car that gets from a to b. it is nothing great. The question is what would you do with the money if in my situation. Save up more? But save up for what. Already spoke to gf. We are goin to have a smal wedding so that wont be an expense either.

Use it to get your first house, so you'll have less of a morgage hanging over you.

Or you could blow it on Liqour and whores.

As tasteless as I find it for a first post, I will answer. Presumably once you have had your modest wedding you will then wish to have your own property, in which case you have a middle of the road deposit. And puff the thread disappears in a pointless burst of nothingness.

Random first post! I'm assuming your future wife wouldn't be too keen on living with your parents, so carry on saving for a deposit. Seems like a no brainer to me!

You'd have to be crazy not to save it for a house deposit. You'll want your own place at some point, and the more cash you have available the better.

Spend it on whatever you want to spend it on. Sometimes I do wish instead of buying motorbikes in my younger years that I had saved and got onto the property ladder as now I'm having to work insane hours to try and build up a big enough deposit to buy a house as I'm limited to a £108k mortgage on my wage I can say I had fun hammering around on my bikes though and touring Europe a few times etc. Vehicles in general depreciate, a house should eventually appreciate. The choice is all yours
