Can anyone spec me a system as well for the £300/350 price range?
ps i dont need memory, ssd/hdd or a monitor.

I wll be using it primarily for gaming (borderlands 2 etc)/browsing and streaming via the tv. At some point i wll probably attach my usb 3.0 external hd to the system.

Can you list the full spec of your present system?

Make and model of Psu. Do you need a case, OS, dvd or k&m?
The more components you can reuse, the more we can spend in other areas.
 
Im looking for a mobo, cpu, case and graphics card. A stock cooler for the cpu is fine or a cooler master pro rev 3.

My other systems is an i5, asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3, 650 ocz pw supply, evga gtx 560 ti etc.

Ive only used Asus mobos but am welcome to change if the functionality is there.

Having a silent/quiet running system is also desired.

I might be able to increase the limit to £400 to make things slightly easier.

If i was you, i would keep your i5(if it`s the 2500k) and mobo. Just get a Gpu, case and a cooler.
Or get a second hand 560ti, new IB Cpu, mobo, case and cooler.

To upgrade you would want the 3570k and a Z77 mobo at least. That will cost at least £270. That will only leave £130 for case and Gpu.
 
Ive got an old 600w power supply which I have cleaned, but it is still kinda noisey.
I would like a new one if it is possible to factor in..

Ok, done a little reshuffle
Included a "B" grade mobo and case. The mobo may have some accessories missing, but will still work. They both come with a 90 day warranty from OCUK and then after that, whatever manufacturers warranty is left.
The Psu is one of the best quality units around.
