One of my old machines i gave to my family has developed a fault with the power supply. It is a OCZ GameXStream 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply thats about 5 years old. Im looking to replace it but as its only use is the internet i dont want to spend much on a new one. Would it be a straight swap for the OcUK Swift 500W V2 Silent Power Supply (£12) or do i need to spend a bit more money?. Thanks

I wouldnt buy that cooler master! Its got no safety devices, its not 80 plus certified and has no kettle lead.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :D

It'll work and be fine, it's not like it's powering anything intensive.

How will it work fine with no kettle lead xD

We need to know sytem specs first though I agree with Ocvader that that OCZ PSU is the lowest you really wanna go.
