I had him back in 11 and he was an absolute beast in that game, then they made him rubbish in the last one. Might see what hes like in this one and might try and fit him in somewhere

Really like this team in the 5 matches I've played with it, won every game convincingly, the attacking movement is amazing, I love the formation. I thought Van Bommel would be a bit slow in the middle but after trying him out there he's simply amazing, he tackles everything, his passing is top notch as well, he's already finished two games with 100% passes completed, he tracks back to help the defence too. I've got VDV on the bench but the midfield has been so good I'll probably only use him when Strootman needs resting. Been starting games in defensive mode with counter attack switched on and the pace down the flanks is lethal.

I've got Lens and Babel for backups but Boerrigter on the left is like a Van Persie from his winger days and Narsingh has bags of pace, beats pretty much any left back in the game in a straight line. Huntelaar is in for now and he's scored 4 in 2 but I might end up buying RVP anyway. Guyon Fernandez has been alright as well with 2 goals in 2 sub appearances, might try De Jong too as he was awesome up front last year.

Defence isn't the fastest but it does okay, played a few pacey teams including one guy who had Briand and Remy and the team handled them pretty well.
 
Just won my first online tournie, wasnt really expecting too since I only have an average side but everyone else I came across does too, was quite expecting a few really good teams in the semis and final

I asked this on the last page, but when you are playing semis or finals I don't think the other player is neessary at the same stage. You could have played 3 people on their 1st round matches. Not sure if this is correct tho.

This time into my fifa 12 career I had already built the full Barca and Real Madrid squads.

This year I have built the full German and Italy international sides (which I will be keeping as they're fun as hell to play with.) I have also built a full Real Madrid side minus Ronaldo. Cost me 500k to build that side and even though it was amazing, it was too expensive to keep. I also built a BPL side with Rooney and RVP and again, not bad but too expensive to keep. Bought Robben, sold after 2 games. Meh.

Italy and German sides seem to be the way to go for value. I really want to build a team around Falcao but my funds seem to be low for some reason.
 
I don't understand how some people let their players go down to 50 fitness then put them up on the market. What the hell have these people been doing with their players?

Do it! Was 0-1-4 in Div 1, signed him and stayed up with 4-1-4. Star man!

He suits how I play though. Slow through the middle, then out to a winger and cross. If you want someone lightning up top, he's not for you.

I normally play with one who has a bit of pace and the other normally has a bit of strength so he would fit in well :)
 
Anyone had players just disappear without trace from their trade pile?

I had Rosinei up for auction then i filled all my auction slots up with fitness cards for sale and he has disappeared! Can't find him any where and my coins haven't gone up to reflect that he has sold.

I hope i haven't just lost him!

Yes, I experienced this with a 4-3-3 card yesterday, it's still not there.
 
Need someone to replace Matri (who has been great but needs improved upon)

Also is Sneijder worth it over current CAM ??

Got 37k plus potential selling Podolski for around 20k.

Thoughts please??

Risked it - found him for 4k BIN (PS3). What's the most popular/valuable formation out of 3-5-2, 5-2-2-1, or 4-3-2-1? He's 5-2-2-1 at the moment, but I've got those other modifier cards so could change him if it would bump his resale value.

No, still got my Italy and German teams but just been coming up against the sweatest of sweat teams. People putting 90 pace wingers into cm posistions and ping pong 1 2 passing it around. Lost a lot of games even though I dominated posistion and shots.

Strange game.

I think I'll stick to cups for a while. Seems more fun. Seasons is just brutal at times for the wrong reasons.

Weird there doesn't seem to be an option for casual single online matches this year.. tournaments = sweaty, seasons = sweaty :(
