B grade monitor experiences?

Hi all, there is a monitor on B grade at the moment that is at a tempting price and I am just looking for past experiences with B grade monitor purchases. I.e. what was wrong with it, is it usually just unwanted returns, missing accessories or do they have dead pixels etc? I was just wondering if there is a norm / pattern, or whether it is just pot luck.

Thanks

Just be sure it's still in stock, call them or contact them via email. I know Bgrade stock count isn't always updated on the website, and the screen you're interested in may of been sold already.

Most of them I'm guessing will be DSR returns for dead pixels, back light bleeding etc. I've purchased a few over the years and they've all had some form of minor issue, most of them dead or stuck pixels. It isn't so bad if the manufacturer offers a on site swap service (like Dell do), but if they don't and these things annoy you then I'd suggest steering clear.

However if you don't mind these things then bargains can be had! :)

I brought a b grade Benq XL2420T for £204. Apart from being opened it was good as new and still had all the stickers on it. No missing cables or dead pixels.
But had some back light bleed which was only noticeable on max brightness

Thanks for the responses guys, looks like it really is pot luck then. If I get unlucky can I return it under the 14 days thing still?

I was going to get one, but there was no buy button online. Which has been fixed in the last few hours but also the price has gone up £56 :(

If you are talking about the xl2420t then yeah I noticed the price increase on that as well. Maybe it was a mistake and they only just noticed?

I remember reading a thread a while ago where OCUK said that the distance between the b grade price and the new price often reflects the quality / completeness of the b grade item. Maybe the ones they have left are nicer than the ones sold before?
