Nvm just got song. Grr trades aren't completing, have found a Diego Alice's going dirt cheap but I won't have enough to battle for him, got 6k coming from a sale if it ever completes.

Sickening, going to have to let a Diego alves with 27 contracts slide due to ea's crappy auction servers, and with that I shall be rage sleeping

Really enjoying my Dutch team still, Strootman is really good but my best value for money player has to be Van Bommel. He's in the middle of my midfield three and he does everything really well, his passing with both feet is amazing, his tackling is what you'd expect from a dirty player like him, his heading is good and his free kicks on the edge of the box are pretty much unsaveable. Janssen has been quite good too especially his free kicks which are better than any other Dutch player, probably within the top 5 in the game, 91 90 91 iirc. :D

Song or khediera CDM? Song has khediera for pace and is one of the quickest la liga CDMs but is he worth the 3k premium?

I'd go Song, although if funds are tight, isn't Essien between the 2 in terms of pricing?

Don't say that. :( I just bought Hummels to replace Subotic! Haha. I'll see how he fares, but now I'm going to be doubting every move he makes. :P

Honestly, for me, Subotic has been 10x better!

Boateng also did a LOT more than Naldo too, not 100% sold on Farfan, but his time will come!

Its 100% a step backwards - Id say its FIFA 11.5 at best and Im being polite.

EA have brought back overpowered chipped throughballs, reduced finesse shots (so much so that its far easier to just use the normal shot, which is curious when finesse was meant to be a more accurate placed shot when it was introduced) but its seems so much easier to score volleys or other spectactular first time shots yet players cant even control the ball normally which seems ironic. GKs seem to be worse at dealing with low driven shots...

I can pretty much 8 times out of 10 from KO pass straight to my ST and get off a shot - Ive not been able to do that since FIFA 10 and even then it was much harder. The attacking AI makes this so much easier its silly at times and shows up constantly how stupid the defending AI is - Ive not scored a goal I could truly say is because I beat the other player but more they couldnt get their defence to do what they wanted...

Its a poor game in comparison to FIFA 12, anyone who says different I dont think they know what they are on about. The way I see it is that FIFA 13 hasnt fixed any of the issues from the last one but either reintroduced ones from previous versions or just added new ones...

First touch isnt that bad, but I dont think its a useful feature, just another random event to add on top of the obvious EA scripting. The problem is that people are slowly realising that its just easier to run with the ball than to attempt to pass it until they are in shooting range...

Hummels is really sluggish but so far with my Germany team, he hasn't let me down too much. As far as defending goes, he is better but everything else(pace, agility ect) he is horrible at.

Reus = top 5 striker.

My personal top 5 strikers in the game.

Matri (scored the most goals to games for me so I have to put him #1)
Reus
Cavani
Pato
Miccoli

and servers are down.. at 5:50am!!!

Wait, I've been playing a game worse than fifa 12 but some how been enjoying it more than fifa 12? I agree it has its flaws but so did fifa 12,11 and 10. I really don't care as its still the most fun I've had with a fifa game.

The only players that are good at finnese shots are players that have that trait now. I like it that finesse shots aren't overpowered this year and driving shots are the way to go.

Sorry you aint enjoying it as much as 12. btw, you still want my players from 12?

With a little adaptation, some learning and some figuring out, im enjoying 13 far more than 12.

I like how people cant score finesse shots from ridiculous acute angles as the ball does a 90 degree turn mid flight.

The first touch control I think is necessary, to help stop the pace abusers. In contrast to that though if you know what you are doing with first touch you can still pace-rape a defender; although I find that at least with most the high pace players, their shooting/finishing isn't high so it has to be a pretty good finish.

It didn't take long for me to adapt to the defending either. A lot of it is now more down to anticipation and control rather than just holding A and RB and letting the computer defend for you (Lots of people still try this, but the attacking AI means that usually one of your players will move into space and you can pick them out).

But you're being a bit hopeful - you can make 6k on a 100k player but never going to make 6k on a 10k player! :cool:

Just do lots of trading. I found players around the 10-30k range to be best for '12, haven't been doing much in '13 tbh.

Essien was like 12k last night! Picked up a song with 14 contracts for 4.2k, quite happy with that, 4-1-2-1-2 aswell. Just need a better keeper than kameni now and 2 pacey CBS Moreno and Miranda aren't that good together
 
according to my trading record on the UT web app I have made -99,579. Yup thats right apprently I have spent more coins than I have made. WIN :D :p lolol

I think I'm going to sell on my Bunda team. I should be able to get about 400k for the lot I think (maybe a bit more) and try go for BPL team. I have to say my fav formation so far has been 433 really fun formation to play.

Also where the hell is our happy hour dammit !!!!
