Hi Guys, I have an interview tomorrow for ****** (yes I know they rival OCUK in terms of stock but I prefer OCUK hence why I'm here) and it's for a tech support role. I've no expirience with Tech Support and the company know this as we discussed this on the phone. It's always been more of a hobby but the head of recruitment said I spoke so passionatly about Tech during the telephone interview, she'd rather I went for the Tech Support role rather then the customer support role I applied for.

I'm normally very good with interview, I think I've only failed on one ever. How do I present myself in this type of role? Every job I've had before I could rely on my past exp within that certain sector to do the talking.

But with this...I'm bricking it a little... I really want the job :)

Ah got to leave for my interview in 2 horus...And my suit hasnt been cleaned faihkahfkhaefkla

I have very smart shirt/tie/trousers/shoes though. Will that be formal enough?

Ahhhh I'll explain it in the interview, I've just moved here so I'll say sorry at the start, shows I'm honest in a way rather then not bothered.

I was once asked what I would do if I didn't know how to fix a problem I answered with ask someone and if they don't know I'd google it. They loved that.

If you really want the job it should come across naturally in the interview. Employers love people who really want to work for them, fact.

Also as above get them talking about themselves. Even if you don't say much they'll feel like the interview went really well after.
