Hiya folks,

I'm looking at building myself a decent gaming PC. I have a £1000 budget but I need absolutely everything (tower only). I've completed my own basket, how do I neatly copy & paste it to you guys for you to have a look at?

I want your opinions. :)

That case is very cool stulid 8)

I'm not clued up with motherboards at all, anything wrong with that one I posted? Think I'm definitely going to invest in a i7 to future proof it a bit more.

A Intel socket 1155 CPU will not fit into a AMD AM3+ socket board.

You only really need 8GB of RAM for gaming.

The i7 3770K features Hyperthreading, games don't utilize this, thats why a i5 3570K is just as fast.

If you are only gaming, then an i7 is not necessary. Best to invest in a decent cooler and overclock the 3570K. Big gains can be had with that chip.

The only real difference from i5 to i7 is hyperthreading, which only really sees a benefit when doing things like 3d rendering, encoding etc.

Well I suppose I should always keep my options open. So you all really suggest I go for the i5 instead? I understand that all the i7 offers instead is hyperthreading but may this be used for future games at all?

Really sorry for being a noob, I'm keen to learn! It's much appreciated guys :)
