Borderlands 2 "The Dust" Glitch - anyone else??

Just been to the dust to test, and i cannot get that to happen all is fine on mine,

Even did a loads of powerslides to try and get it to work, i picked the same car etc, the only diff im a siren class & i loaded in from the ellie workshop

Car sort of sinks a bit into the land then starts sliding out of control. Finally falls through the map.

Happens with any car, but only on this map. Was fine a few days ago.

I've seen another one or two vids showing the same now, so at least I'm not alone.

Just annoying as I now have to walk in the dust until this bug is fixed. :(
 
That looked pretty cool :D. Just had a drive about for 10 mins in the dust and it doesn't do that with mine. I'm a Commando as well.
 
If you've got it on steam have you tried 'verify integrity of game cache' under properties -> local files?
 
Yeah this problem happened with me for the first time on Sunday.

In my case as soon as I jumped in a car on that map it would start falling through the map.

Fast travelled to the highlands and the cars were fine, back to 'Dust' and the clipping issue was back.

I verified cache and I think it downloaded 2 files in my case, but the problem was still there, emailed Gearbox support later that day. Still to receive a reply, but when I fired the game up on Monday everything was working perfectly again. Haven't had any troubles since then, got 3 side missions completed on 'Dust' with no problems.

If gearbox do give me a reply I'll let you know.

You may just get lucky like me and the issue resolves itself.
 
Well I was playing late last night. When I finished I noticed thaw game updating. Hopefully this update fixes the above!! I'll find out tonight.

Glad I found out I can at least ride as a passenger without it all going **** up!!
