Child forced to drink own urine

It's threads like this that make me wonder why I come into GD these days.

People don't seem to marry what they read with real life.

Lambasting someone for not violently attacking another man?!!

Judging someone for "letting it go on" when you clearly have no idea about custody laws or how difficult this type of situation actually is from a legal standpoint.

For shame.

No I don't, despite your rather ill-conceived insinuations. This isn't making up stories, it is making serious accusations about about child abuse. Whether the chap is on the level or not I don't know, but some people seem to think he isn't. Trolling ala Kwerk is one thing, allegations of child abuse are quite another.

I though that was pretty obvious.



Is Kwerk unbanned yet anyway?

your child tells you he is being subject to behaviour that is without a shadow of a doubt abuse and you post on here asking what you should do.

get your backside down to your local cop shop and make a formal complaint. contact social services and get your children the hell out of that situation.

I would question your own fitness to be a parent the fact you have not done the above immediately after this was brought to your attention. I can only hope that your children get out of this situation and find themselves in a stable environment

Your incessant pompous posturing aside, there is no proof he is trolling. If we go into almost any big GD thread dealing with race, religion, abuse, or any contentious topic we will see examples of about 10 people that ideally we wouldn't want in the OCUK community.

Hmmm...a bit ironic there richdog....not to mention unnecessary. You could have simply said the rest without the insult. You are probably right (about the latter opinon rather than the insult).

Still if he is not on the level it seems a little more distasteful than the average ranting on about whatever..

If he is on the level then my apologies to him for listening to the peanut gallery.

No offense was meant with the 'man up' comment, sorry if some as taken. At least I wasn't advising you to take a sledgehammer to his balls etc etc.

You seem to be following the correct course of action for this which is commendable given the circumstances.

Sorry, I was slightly offended but nevermind, least of my worries.

To the "OP full of it" and "obvious troll is obvious" people, get a grip, I came on here to vent and express my anger at the situation otherwise it would have been a sledge hammer and a car lodged in the living room of the house.

Actions taken:

I rang NSPCC before posting on here, they referred to social services.

I spoke to the school about any concerns they had to build a bigger case, They had no concerns and will "call a meeting", great help that.

I rang social services first thing yesterday and they advised "not had time to look at it yet, resources are stretched", thanks for that.

I then rang the police, who I have chased last night and today with "sorry, we dont have an update as yet"

isnt the system amazing, might end up being a sledge hammer and a car in the living room at this rate, seeing as that might actually get someone to do something.

Anyway, I'm going to chase them all again.
 
I can't believe some of the crap coming out of some people in this thread...

Richard having read your posts, you have done totally the right thing, well done!

I watched a Panorama documentary where it said the average social worker has a maximum of 40 minutes per case which is why so much gets by them.

System goes on about how it wants to change blah blah blah, but when you actually need them, they let you down. Only a childs death jumps the idiots into gear but only for a short period of time while the media are on their back, after that they become complacent again.

Finally got the officer dealing with the issue to come back to me (after several phone calls) and they haven't even visited them at home.

I have the children from this evening so they are going to come to my house this evening to talk with the children and myself.

Sorry Castiel it was a little harsh and I apologise (genuinely)... but sometimes the: "Speaking as moral representative on behalf of all the good people of the forum" spiel does get a little tiresome to read sometimes, especially when as I said the OP has to all intents and purposes done nothing so far to deserve such heavy-handed talk as casting him out of the forum. OCUK is like Rome sometimes, the mob rules.

This is what I alluded to earlier - sorry it has been that way but unfortunately given the workload and all the things that need to be done it inevitably ends up that way.

Like I said earlier if you think this is justification for the children to be taken away then I think you'll be disappointed - in my experience this is not enough.

(I am not saying that is right/wrong just what I have found to be the process)
 
This thread is pathetic. Not for the OP, I fully believe him. But for all those people berating the OP for "not doing anything"

Do you have any idea how hard this sort of situation is to deal with? My mum had proof, in court, that her **** of an ex-husband was mentally abusing my 5 year old little brother. What did the judge do? Grant joint custody.

So to any of those people saying A) this is a troll, B) the OP isn't doing enough or C) just being general idiots, kindly **** off out of this thread. Because you have ZERO idea what you are talking about.

Unfortunately that really is the case. But the paperwork will have been picked up and recorded by the office clerk and will be allocated to a resource.

Oh completely, this is nothing in the grand scheme of things when it comes to case conferences to have children taken away.
