*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

The thing I've found (and through reading about) is for 433 to be effective you really need to invest in really good wingers and ST. I use Giovinco on LW, Palacio on RW and then ST I swap between IF Quagliarella and Muriel. Thinking of getting Robinho for my LW but Giovinco seems to be doing really well.

As mentioned though 433 has been my fav formation to use since I can swap quite easily between a long ball + strong counter attacks or to a short ball slow attack with a really strong defensive play.

Hmm you are right I write the team Left to Right because that's how you are meant to write but it looks wrong for football teams :p

Ive just made a 352 with cheap gold players that have zero links but are in the right formation and position just to test chemistry. It seems a bit more stricter than FIFA 12 so far but nothing drastic...

does anyone else on xbox notice that their firewall shows moderate ive never had this before its always been open on every game .

Yep, I get the same, no idea why, it was open as, well, something very open in '12.

Ps3ud0, I'll have a think for ya mate, fancying a 433 myself, still needing ideas!

Having a CB with only 51 pace will see you get ripped apart by anyone with pacy strikers (which is virtually everyone). Even Distin with 71 pace isn't really quick enough for my liking. I'd use Yanga-M'Biwa instead, he's been decent for me.

If you need someone slightly cheaper, get Mangala, he's been an absolute beast for me. Not quite as good as Sakho, but really not far off.

My 433 :) saving to get Chiellini to replace Diakite and Pirlo for my center CM. Maybe Buffon at a later date for GK but Marchetti has been doing an awesome job. Konko on the RB is really freaking good aswell got so much speed to clamp down on those through balls.

Here is my 4-3-3 team, I keep getting killed in defence during the ridiculous scoring FUT games. I lost 8-2 and drew 5-5 last night :confused:

I prefer having fast defenders to catch up with them pace abusers. With the exception Diakite my other 3 defenders have a min of 80 pace. Ogbonna is an absolute tank and by far one my fav defenders.
 
Meh, I hardly ever concede off corners, it seems to be a timing thing rather than height thing. The defenders running the wrong way and leaving strikers open thing on the other hand... don't get me started! :mad:
 
Can someone please explain what ultimate team is, or whatever it's called? I've just been playing on career mode, and then I come on here to see pictures of modes I've never seen before. :p
 
Just got Cech in my first pack then Torres in my second! Craziest thing ever! Sold both on and made 70k.

EDIT: Just got Lampard on my 15th or so pack.

Just spent 100k on packs. made it all back though.
