Ps3 super slim hdd bracket

Just got the 12gb version, want to install my ssd in it but I can't find the mounting bracket in the shops, any idea where or when it's available?

Not sure if they will actually do one as the new design sliding door would very awkward to use in a vertical position placing the discs in.

Correct me if I am wrong.

They're definitely allowing you to install a hard drive, not sure about the mounting bracket though.

Yes they are releasing a official mounting bracket http://m.computerandvideogames.com/...-date-wallet-friendly-12gb-version-confirmed/ it's just when and where, getting inpatient now I may just install it without it it, should be ok

Sorry, just realized you are on about the hd bracket. I thought you meant the vertical stand.

Don't understand why they would not provide one already in the slot!!. Come to think of it would the hd trays on older systems fit??

Because all the old ones came with a HDD so the bracket was obviously a requirement. Surprised the 12Gb version doesnt have it, but I guess that why they have the 500Gb variant and the official 250Gb HDD upgrade now for the Super Slim.

Dno why you would want to put a SSD in unless you play loads of PSN games on it...

@OP Unlucky you got the Super Slim, couldnt you source the superior Slim PS3?
